| AURATUM
PLATYPHYLLUM LILY |
These ones seemed to do
very well. They were grown from bulbs with
no problems and were eventually decked in
these vanilla-scented flowers. |

| Loads of greenery grew from
the 25 corm thingies I planted, but just one
of them flowered. Not a good turnout. |

| Small, sunny and as yellow as the American cheese in Elvis Presley's cheeseburger. |

| The white lilies seem to
grow really well in our garden for some reason.
Or maybe there were more of these bulbs than
there were others, I have no idea. |

| Sowed the seeds for these some point last summer, then completely forgot about their existance until they grew. |

This wasn't grown, it was
purchased in B&Q and planted in with some
dodgy faux rocks. And then it flowered and
amazement was felt by all. Last seen alive in 2003. Probably dead now.

| Yes, irises. Didn't like them much before, but I have now decided I quite like them, even though they don't smell of much. Nice purples, naff photo. |

end LILY (MOISTENED) |
Five bulbs were planted
and one plant flowered. With one
flower. Huh. I've been totally owned by Percy
Thrower.

| This pink lily strangely turned up where it wasn't supposed to be; in a bowl of Toad Lilys. Either that, or my Toad Lilies are dangerous pink flowery mutants that will kill us all. I've been playing Far Cry too much ... |

| I have absolutely no idea how or why I have this lily. I didn't buy it, it wasn't given to me, it just turned up in my pot of other lilys. Could be a La Reve gone wrong. It's a nice looking mystery lily and I quite like it, even though it's origins vex me. |

| Yes, yet another lily that I haven't killed. Maybe one day some other flower may actually do me the courtesy of actually growing. |

| Groovy little red lilies that match my current hair colour. A bonus as my flowers normally clash profusely with my hair. Incidentally, you may have noticed that I like lilies. |
