They're
tiny, they sometimes live under rocks and
their babies are massive alien maggots things
that have probably been featured on Battlestar
Galactica at some point. |

| A family of frogs, consisting of one big one and two cute small ones, turned up out of the blue, and are the latest residents to the still-unfinished pond. |

This bird looked as though
it was far too fat to fly. It was stuck in
the garden for a few days, tucking into worms,
bugs and bits of bread, then it came to a
tragic end in the pond. There was a moving
funeral and it now lives under the holly tree.

| HITCHCOCK
BIRD EXPERIENCE |
| A Hitchcock
moment, if there ever was one. We were sitting
outside minding our own business, when it
all went dark and quiet. We were surrounded
by these sinister birds who were watching
and waiting for the right moment to strike
and rip our foolish eyes out. |

| I don't particularly like flies as they are dirty little things, and make the most irritating buzzing noises. This one redeemed itself by having such pretty, shiny greens. |

| A mass
of baby spiders who used to live on the fence.
A knock on the fence post scattered them,
but they huddled up again quickly enough.
No longer resident in the garden, due to growing
up. |

| small
tortioseshell butterfly on the telly |
| This was an unexpected 2:30
in the morning bug harrassment that consisted
of Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly annoying
flapping around our heads before settling
on the TV for a quick photo opportunity. |

Every day at about 5:30
pm, we are visited by a large gang of sparrows.
They eat, drink and frolic by the waterfall,
sometimes they even have fights. And sometimes
it looks as though the flying sparrow has
forgotten the Hob Nobs, and a couple of the
others are having a go at him about it.

This wasp seems confused.
It follows us about, settles down and then
growls, like it owns the place. This can't
be normal. Here is a picture of it, either
plotting our downfall or copping off with
a bit of wire. |

| THE
SPARROW WHO COULDN'T FLY |
| This young
tubby little chap couldn't fly and was consequently
stuck in the garden for ages, clinging to
the fence and occassionally being fed by mum.
It's not there now, so it either sussed flight
out, or been eaten. |

According
to some local kids, "Ere, your dog is,
like, Westside, innit, Westsiiiiide".
Sadly, he's no longer with us and is now prancing about in the sky, posing his arse off. This also means he gets his own page, which would please him muchly.
